Sean Kingston Gives His First Interview Since His Jet Skiing Accident

Back in May we learned that singer Sean Kingston was involved in a near fatal accident, water-skiing in Florida, and happily ever found out that his recovery and rehabilitation goes along nicely. After Shawn was released from the hospital, he surprised fans by jumping onto the stage to perform with Nicki Minaj in Miami, Florida stop Femme Fatale Tour Britney Spears. Sean still good enough to be hanging out with friends, like Justin Bieber again. Today we get to hear from Sean, in his own words, for the first time since the accident. Sean Kingston spoke for the first time about his near fatal accident of the jet ski and how close he came to death. The singer went open heart surgery after doctors discovered a ruptured aortic blood flow with the chest. He was told, the majority of patients who suffer similar injuries die - but surgeons say 21-year-old he had a guardian angel watching over them. "It was a life death situation, said Kingston. "Many people do not know it was a deep situation. I had open heart surgery, and I had two other operations. Kingston was taken to hospital after the accident, a water bike near his home in Miami Beach, Florida on Memorial Day. He was thrown unconscious into the water and rescued by the Coast Guard seaman Jonathan Rivera. Couples were reunited for the first time at the Today Show, where Kingston thanked his rescuer for saving his life. Referring to the accident, he said: "As soon as I hit the bridge, I got knockout. My face was in the water, and that's what crushed my lungs because I was getting so much water. Kingston spent 11 days in the hospital, and once lifted a fan and have made good progress began to feel stabbing pains in my chest. Doctors had to use electric shock paddles to restart his heart. Scan showed a torn aorta and had to be open heart surgery. His surgeon Antonio Marttos reported today show: "He was trying to die on a couple of times for us, but we just do not let him die. Kingston recalled:" The doctors rushed in, and they did some other tests and they found that as blood, fusion blood in the heart and aorta ruptures. Beautiful Girls singer said 90 percent of people suffering the same trauma of the aorta do not survive. "surgeon told me that you have a guardian angel that day, said Kingston. When asked how he knows, feels, he said: "It is a blessing. It's definitely, you know. God is great. I feel that I am blessed to overcome the tragic situation. Certainly, trauma, and for me, still here. It's only the work of God. I think that my work is not done.. I think it was just, you know, it was not my time yet, "In an interview with MTV Kingston said:" I'm 100 percent right now. What accident basically taught me in life, you should count your blessings.

Wow ... as dire as I suspected him to be injured, I had no idea that Sean was damage to his heart. This young man was very lucky to be alive and luckily, it sounds like he is well aware of this fact. It is very gratifying to see how he looks and sounds very good. I think, Sean Kingston, to be an extremely talented singer, and I wish him nothing but the best for a very long and very happy and healthy life. Remain grateful, Sean.
