Manning turns to teaching during recovery

ST. LOUIS - Peyton Manning Colts went to the "lateral line, as he are still the spectator,as recovers from neck surgery.Colts took a patient approach when it comes to the health of 11-time Pro defender Bowl. On Saturday, the face of the franchise has played the role of teacher.

Manning wore dark blue jeans, blue and white shirt and gray cap Colts.
He spent most of the first half of no more than a few meters from the backup defenders Curtis Painter and Dan Orlovsky.

Manning said playing with doubles.
He shared the tips. He remained involved as he continues to recover from the May 23 repair procedure bulging disc.

"This is huge, so it will come," says the artist, who finished 3 of 6 passes for 55 yards and a interception.
"I'm sure he was not supposed to. He knew that he was not right, but he always wants to be the guy who wants to be involved and included, so it was good to be here."

Manning contributed differently during the jubilee 33-10 victory over the Colts at Edward Jones Dome in the first game of preseason for both teams.
He was not available after the game to talk about his progress, but some in the locker room his presence is a positive sign in his attempt to return.

There are real questions about whether he would play at all this preseason.Colts put him on the physically unable to perform list at the beginning of training camp.

There's no timetable for the return of Manning, but he escaped and threw in practice on Aug. 3, and Colts owner Jim Irsay said he was optimistic recovery star.

On saturday , Jim Caldwell the coach of Indianapolis said Manning's rehabilitation schedule. Caldwell said Manning received treatment and was involved in a rehabilitation center, and in St. Louis.

"It is in the same mode as it was," said Caldwell.
"He works with physicians our doctors are here -. Guys usually he rehabs from - so that he was still with his plan."

Working with a team of doctors is something Manning could not have done recently.
Blocking the NFL kept him from using teams of trainers in early stages of his recovery.

In July, he was frustrated by the situation, says the Associated Press, in a football camp in Thibodaux, Louisiana, "the fact that I did not have access to my guys and I'm kind of on its own, I have been very careful and very slow and making sure
that we do not have any setbacks. "

"We know what he should do," wide receiver Reggie Wayne said on Saturday."He does what he must do to get back. Whenever it is part of a team that makes the trip, in practice, during film study, you know, it's a positive thing.

"So, I hope we get him back sooner rather than later. I would prefer him back and ready to right, before you rush him to have him back. At one time, it will get there. Until then, we want
He returned to 100 percent. "

Manning's work to reach this point is similar to the situation he faced in 2008.That same year, two operations were necessary for the repair of infected bag sack in his left knee.
He missed training camp and preseason, but dropped to 4002 yards during the regular season, in which the Colts won nine straight games after starting 3-4.

Indianapolis hopes Manning feels no long-term consequences, as soon as he returns.
He is coming off of the regular season in which he threw for a career-high 4700 yards, which was the fifth consecutive time he had thrown for at least 4000 to 2006. His rookie campaign in 1998 and 2005 season just two years, he did not have that many yards.

Due to lack of Manning, Painter and Orlovsky got more looks in training camp.Painter, Colts' in his rookie season played two games,in sixth round selection in 2009, but did not throw to pass in 2010. On August 1, Colts signed Orlovsky to one-year contract after the Houston Texans released seven-year pro on July 30.

Orlovsky was a better performance on Saturday, completing 4 of 10 passes for 111 yards and one score on two interception.
Learning from experience Manning he will remember.

"I'm sure that person is good to have a franchise to be with him wherever she goes," Orlovsky said.
"We talked about playing here and there but nothing too crazy. You can tell how hard he works on it, and how smart he is (on) tips and pointers, and attention to detail, he has. He was a good experience" .

Manning, attention to detail was on display on Saturday.
He walked off the field teacher. AS Soon as possible , he hopes to become something more.

"Everyone always hears about his work ethic," Painter said.
"I'm sure he works hard and he does what he can do to get back."
